 Vivien Devaney-Frice - Restorative Partners

You may have heard California is closing prisons and offering early parole to many of those who have been incarcerated. As we drive to SLO from Morro Bay we drive by the California Men’s Colony. Have you wondered what happens after the men are released once they have served their time or have earned early release? Who’s there to meet and guide their transitions back into society?

Vivien Devaney-Frice is the Director of In-Custody & Reentry Programs at Restorative Partners. As a certified practitioner, facilitator, and peer counselor, Vivien believes in the power of restorative practices and an intersectional approach to healing, accountability, and advocacy. Vivien earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame, a Master's degree from Warwick University, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Human Development from Fielding Graduate University.
