League Women Voters-Susan Devine & Glenn Silloway
This year’s election changes and support for 100 years since the 19th Amendment gave women the vote

Voting in 2020 will be different and as always before important. Could this be a new normal for voting. Maybe. Could it be a beginning for Morro Bay Rotary to become a support group for exercising our right to choose our leadership? Maybe. Regardless, we all need to know what to expect and today Susan Devine and Glenn Silloway, directors for the League of Women Voters, will provide an independent, non-partisan explanation of Elections in SLO County 2020.

Susan Devine has been a League Of Women voters  member for about 20 years and has been involved with both the Voter Services team and the Civil Discourse project. She believes voting is extremely important to our democracy and is passionate about voting rights and encouraging voters to actually cast their vote in every election.

Glenn Silloway is one of 3 men on the Board of the League of Women Voters of San Luis Obispo County. The League’s mission is both non partisan and gender neutral:  get people to register, learn the issues, and vote.

Note: Glenn has also spoken to MB Rotary before but in his capacity as President of the Historical Society of Morro Bay.
