Rotary Bike Path Clean-up
Saturday's community project was a
success and it was fun, too! Over 20 showed up at 8AM on a nice Saturday
morning to help clean up our community.

boys, Daudi Kaliisa, President of Los Osos, Dominic Tartaglia, Rotoract leader,
with 3-4 other Rotaractors, Mary Leizear, Rick & Claire Grantham, David
Owens and daughter Dari, Debbie Spalding, Judy Salamacha, Bill Peirce,
Bruce Harwood, Gary Englund, Ken Stiltz, Mike Shaffran, Jessica Weiss (my
daughter), and your "fearless" leader (me).
Thank you to Miner's Hardware
which donated 40 large trash bags and 10 pairs of gloves. Thank you
to Judy for the attached pictures and for the MB Beautiful grabbers. Thank
you to Jude Long for the delightful pastries from Carlock's.
Items of interest: Rick Grantham
found panties and a bra and somehow ended up with a porn magazine. John found 3
pairs of pants and several beer bottles and cans. Everyone found their share
and fun was had by all! We also uncovered a softball which was returned
(thrown) to the park. David Owens continued past the others working his way to
Atascadero as trash was in abundance!
