PROGRAM - Craft Talks
Melissa Davis - she is a massage therapist, working more than 950 hours to get her certification.  She is a strong believer in massage as it regulates hormones amongst other things.  She also provides a special program called Hands on Hero’s for Veterans at no cost; up to 4 Vet’s per month.  She specializes in pre-natal, somatic body work-working with how your brain works with your body as well as canine massage.

Sarah Ketchum –both parents were immigrants (Iran and Mexico).  She has been in the financial industry since she was 19 years old.  She shared that because she grew up in poverty, she wanted to understand how the rich got rich and how money works.  She has been with Edward Jones for 5 years and jumped at the chance to come to Morro Bay.  She focuses on trustee services, handling estates for those who have died.   Sarah has two children, Noah (a football player) and Bella (a cheerleader).

Ken Casida – spent 35 years in the funeral business.  He worked at Forrest Lawn beginning in 1967, going on 120 calls each month.  He became the Director of Services there, holding 5 each day.  In 1973 he began working for Hadley Chapel in Visalia, where he did some embalming and services as well as worked with families, which he enjoyed.  He shared that cremation has become much more popular over the years.
